MOUNT SHASTA – The rain came. The rain left. And, the
Andrew Campbell scored what turned out to be the game winner six minutes into the match, with an assist form Gina Antonucci. Ten minutes later, Alastair Curley and Zack Morris combined to set up John Holst for the second Bear tally. Morris ws credited with the assist.
Holst picked up an assist on a corner kick, when David Castaneda scored, making it 3-0 after 30 minutes. Four minutes before halftime, Morris headed in a pass from Liam O’Hara, giving the Bears a 4-0 lead at the intermission.
Sam Wooten had a pair of goals in the second half sandwiched around a score by Morris. Holst and Miller Sbarbaro had second half assists. Keeper Andrew McLane turned away three Etna shots.
