College of the Siskiyous womens basketball coach Tom Powers’ choice for the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Eagle Basketball Player of the Week is Lauren Lesina. Lesina put up 13 points and pulled down 10 boards against Butte last week. She also leads the state in 3-point shooting.

College of the Siskiyous womens basketball coach Tom Powers’ choice for the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Eagle Basketball Player of the Week is Hailey Wales. Wales put up 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and had only 3 turnovers–one apple, one cherry, and one mixed berry–against Lassen last Saturday.

“She had a great all-around game and got us off to a good start,” said Powers.
