Mt. Shasta boys and girls XC win at Henley Invitational

The Mt. Shasta boys and girls teams both took 1st place at the Henley Invitational cross country race on Tuesday.
Lady Bears Ellen Sampson (1:08.42), Julie Ostrowski (21:58.13), Janelle Jaegel (22:29.92) and Kelsie Titus ( 22:59.39) finished 1st – 4th individually in the varsity girls race.

Yreka JVs defeat Mazama 13-2, varsity game called after two innings

The Yreka Miners junior varsity defeated the Mazama Viking JVs 13-2 on Thursday afternoon.
The JVs completed their game at the Yreka High School field despite continuous rain. The varsity contest was called after two innings due to Hibbard Field being unplayable.
