Mt. Shasta varsity girls coach Kirk Andrus has selected Kathryn Andrus as the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Bear Basketball Player of the Week.

“Her defense on the week was exceptional,” said Coach Andrus.

Andrus put up 13 points against Modoc last week, and grabbed 9 rebounds.

Congratulations Kathryn. You have a 12-pack of Pepsi headed your way.

Mt. Shasta varsity girls coach Kirk Andrus’ pick for the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Bear Basketball Player of the Week is Allison Titus.

“She has really picked up her game defensively, she’s a terrific teammate, is shooting the ball with great confidence, and has made the most important basket in both games we played this week (last week), including our last basket in regulation of the Weed game,” said Andrus.

Mt. Shasta varsity girls coach Kirk Andrus has selected Kathryn Andrus as the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Bear Basketball Player of the Week. Andrus helped the Lady Bears to a 2-0 start in the Shasta Cascade League last week, averaging 10 points and 10 boards per game, as well as playing strong defense, in wins over Etna and Burney.

Mt. Shasta varsity girls basketball coach Kirk Andrus has chosen Sejay Sarti as the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Bear Basketball player of the Week.

“She has really come of age as a varsity basketball player this week (last week). Her comfort level increased and she was fantastic as the week moved along. Her strong play was essential to our three game winning streak (now 4)’” said Andrus.

Sarti, a sophomore, put up 14 points against Big Valley, and 6 against Yreka last week.

Congratulations Sejay. Emerson will be delivering a 12-pack of Pepsi to you.

Mt. Shasta Coach Kirk Andrus’ choice for the Pepsi of Mt. Shasta Lady Bear Basketball Player of the Week is Janelle Jaegel.

“(Jaegel is) the heart and soul of our team. Took three charges in three games. Played great defense, and started to shoot the ball well and attack the basket. She’s a great competitor and worker, and is really making our team better,” said Andrus.
