Visited the Rescue Ranch on Tuesday for their monthly doggie video shoot. I kind of like the big dogs, so my favorite is Zeus, a Mastiff mix. I also really like Luther, who’s a lab/hound mix. Unbelievably, Molly is still there. She’s such a sweetheart, someone seriously should take her home.

Visited the Rescue Ranch on Thursday for their monthly doggie video shoot. If you want a really sweet dog, Molly is my pick. For high energy and play, go with Delilah.

Paid a visit to the pooches at the Rescue Ranch on Wednesday afternoon to do this month’s video. One in particular really needs a home–Peggy. Imagine this: Peggy has been a pound-puppy nearly her whole life–8 years. Seriously, this dog needs to spend the rest of her days in a loving home. She’s a super sweetheart–one of the nicest dogs at the Rescue Ranch. Please give her a home. (more…)

A week or so ago, I spent about 45 minutes at the Rescue Ranch checking out some really cool dogs. My favorite was…probably Buckshot or Riley. They’re both just lovable and love to play. Barton was pretty cool, too. Miley…she’d likely be best with a woman, since she’s pretty distrustful of guys. But, dogs usually respond to kindness, even if they’re initially a bit skittish.

A friend of mine is a supporter of the Rescue Ranch out on Oberlin Road in Yreka. We were talking one day about needing to find homes for these really cool dogs, and I thought, “Hey, video would be a great way for people to see the dogs.”
So, I spent about an hour and a half with Chrystie and Rick at Rescue Ranch on Sunday filming. It was really fun, and both the facilities and the dogs were awesome.
