Cowboys and Cowgirls from all over the west will be in Yreka California on Saturday August 13, 2011 to compete in the Scott Valley Bank sponsored CCPRA Rodeo at the Siskiyou Golden Fair.

Four Star Rodeo Company from Cottonwood will produce the fair rodeo and provide the rough stock. Four Star’s herd has some of the rankest bulls and horses in the rodeo business.

Each year, generous fair sponsors provide top-notch buckles to the winners in each event and a specialized roping bag is given to the all-around winner. The California High School Rodeo Association State Finals were held in Bishop, California from Monday June 13 to Saturday, June 18. Below are the District-1 competitors who finished in the top four and qualified to go to the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette, Wyoming on July 17-23.
