Youth Soccer

 

Yreka Miner soccer standouts Trevor Daugherty and Noah Lawson will be putting on a soccer camp from July 11 – July 14 at Lower Greenhorn Park in Yreka. The camp is the players’ senior project.

Daugherty and Lawson are both 3-year varsity players for the Miners. Daugherty will be handling the Striker/Midfielder part of the camp. Lawson will do the goalie/defense portion.

The camp will run from 9:00 am – 11:00 am for U-4, U-6, and U-8. Noon to 3:00 pm will be U-10, U-12, and U-14.

The cost for the camp is $40 and includes a camp T-Shirt. Campers will need to bring shin guards. Cleats are recommended but not mandatory.  Campers should also bring a ball if the they have one, and a water bottle.

A Challenger British Soccer Camp for ages 10-18 will be held June 13-17, 2011 at the Scott Valley Junior High School field.

The Scott Valley Soccer Association will be hosting a Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp June 14 -18. The camp for 10-18 year old boys and girls will be held at Etna High School.

British Soccer Camps provide young players with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts right in the heart of their own community. Each British Soccer Camp provides players of all ages and abilities the appropriate program and level of curriculum and a wonderful cultural and educational camp experience! (more…)

The purpose of the TEAMWorks! Soccer Clinic is for kids to not only grow in their skills as soccer players, but in their character as well. While learning skills that will help their ball control, passing, shooting and defending, players will also learn what it takes to be great in life.
