WEED – The College of the Siskiyous Mt. Shasta Vocal Jazz and Show Choir Camp invites the public to a concert on Friday evening, July 3, at 7 p.m., in the Weed Campus Kenneth W. Ford Theater. Tickets are $2 and will be available at the door one hour prior to the concert.
This concert will feature sixty-nine students from all over California and Washington, presenting a high-energy singing and dancing spectacular. Included in the performance are such great songs as Don’t Stop Believin’, When I Fall in Love, Amazing Grace, I Wish (a Stevie Wonder hit), Voice Dance (a popular composition by camp clinician Greg Jasperse), the theme song from High School Musical 3: Senior Year, and 80’s Dance Party (a montage of popular music from the 1980’s). The performance is the culmination of a week-long, intensive learning and rehearsing camp by junior and senior high school students and is filled with entertainment for the entire family.
The Mt. Shasta Jazz and Show Choir Camp features internationally known composers/directors Roger Emerson and Greg Jasperse, and choreographer Jarad Voss.
