WEED – College of the Siskiyous Instructor Jim Gilmore is pleased to announce the annual spring student photography show, (In)Dependent Images, will open at the COS Art Gallery April 20. The student exhibition, which features both film and digital photography work by the Intermediate Photography class, will run through May 12.
Students enrolled in Gilmore’s ART11B Photography class have been encouraged to hone their personal visions of what photography means to them. The photographs selected for the exhibition range from landscape to portraiture, color to black & white, and film to digital images. The students themselves edited
the work for the exhibition, and the resulting images in the Gallery reveal the wide range of interests of the students.
Participating Intermediate photography students include: Kandie Adams, Cory Barrow, Terri Carlisle, Christy Cummings-Dawson, Stacey Davasher, Krista Dower, Kristin Miebach, Alix Norman, Malia Plevney-Gamba, Kelly Samuelson, and Shavaughn Soward
