The College of the Siskiyous announces the following scholarship opportunities:

The Wildlife Society (TWS) Sacramento-Shasta Chapter Scholarships
The TWS Sacramento-Shasta Chapter Scholarship is for students attending schools within the area served by the Chapter. Students should be majoring in Wildlife Biology/Wildlife Management or a closely related field. Deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 1 and June 1 of each calendar year. Chapter VV of P.E.O. of Weed, CA
This scholarship is restricted to female students of College of the Siskiyous who have completed at least 12 units at COS and are planning to enroll at COS for the coming academic year.  Deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 31, 2010. Women’s Army Corps Veterans Association Nor-Cal Chapter 111
The Women’s Army Corps Veteran’s association is reaching out to all female veterans who are seeking to improve themselves through education. Scholarship amounts vary from $500 to $1,000.  For more information call (530) 941-6408. Deadline to apply is April 15, 2010.
