WEED – The College of the Siskiyous is offering a Computer Camp for middle and high school students the week of August 4-8 from 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The total cost for the camp is $59, and will include all materials.
All participants will design and create T-shirts, create buttons to put on T-shirts, create their own computer game, take videos with a digital video camera, make their own video DVDs, and use search engines and download music to make their own CDs.
COS will provide fast MAC and Windows computers, color laser printers, digital video cameras, Windows XP, Leopard, Office 2007, Game Maker software, and a high-speed connection to the internet.
The instructors for Computer Camp 2008 are Mike Graves and Jesse Cecil who are full-time instructors at COS, and have many years of experience in computer software applications, gaming, programming, and computer science.
