Former Etna Lion quarterback and safety Jordan Pehle-Munson has been added to the North roster for the Lions All-Star game, replacing Modoc’s Dee Hunsaker who was unable to play.

A 2009 Etna grad, Munson led the Lions to an 8-4 record and a D-IV North Section semi-final game, last season.

When Munson received the call from North coach Shaun Wood (Modoc) asking him if he was interested in playing, his reply left no doubt.

“Hell, yeah,” said Munson.

Munson was added to the roster as a quarterback, safety, and wide receiver. He joins fellow Etna Lion Alex Case.

The Lions All-Star football game takes place at Shasta College  in Redding on Saturday,  July 25 at 7:30 pm.
