YREKA–The Siskiyou Golden Fair is will present the second annual Junior Exhibitor Showcase Program. The program is open to all Siskiyou County residents between the ages of five and nineteen. To qualify, participants need to enter exhibits in at least three different divisions. Exhibitors will earn points for each project entered, and can earn more points if they receive ribbons for their hard work.
Each junior exhibitor who qualifies for this program will receive an invitation to the Junior Showcase Award Ceremony, to be held on Saturday, August 9, and two gate passes (good for Saturday, only). Every junior exhibitor who participates in the Junior Exhibitor Showcase Program will receive a participation ribbon.
In addition, the top three point winners in each age group will be recognized with ribbons, as well as an overall winner. The overall winner will receive an award, have their name put on a perpetual trophy, and will also have their picture on the front cover of the 2009 Exhibitor Handbook.
