WEED – The College of the Siskiyous Lady Eagles opened up their 2010 volleyball season against Linn Benton on Wednesday night, falling 3-1 (16-25, 25-20, 18-25, 22-25).
Former Etna High School standout Annaleisa Nadig saw significant court time and served well, with a couple of aces. Other locals on the COS team are Sierra Skeen from Weed HS, Cassidy Hammon from Happy Camp HS, and Alyssa Backus from Mt. Shasta HS.
