cos-solano-softball-jackie-imhof-text-sized.jpg REDDING - The College of the Siskiyous Lady Eagles dominated the College of the Redwoods in game one of a scheduled double-header, on Wednesday. Imhof pitched four innings of no-hit ball, before giving way to Becca “Tweety” Anderson, who finished out the five inning combined no-hitter for COS. Stephanie Zwetschke went 4-for-4 with two dingers, and Katie Zauner added a long ball.

The Lady Eagles also ripped Redwoods in game two, 11-3, which ended on a 3-run blast by Zwetschke in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Last weekend the Lady Eagles had a strong showing at the NorCal Shootout held at Big League Dreams in Redding, where they went 4-1.

On Saturday, COS took out Solano, 5-2, with Imhof getting the win, and the Lady Eagles shutout Yuba, 8-0, behind the arm of Catherine Schorn. COS’ lone loss of the Shootout also came on Saturday, when they fell to Reedley 8-7. Stephanie Zwetschke drilled a 2-run homer, and Carlene Morgan had a solo shot.

The Lady Eagles won both of their games via shutouts on Sunday, downing West Hills, 5-0, and Napa 6-0.
