The College of the Siskiyous Lady Eagles swooped into Susanville, and swept Lassen College, winning game-one, 8-0, and game-two, 15-1. Both were five inning games.

In game one, COS scored two runs in the second inning, three in the third, and three in the fifth inning. Stephanie Zwetschke led the offense, going 3-3, with three doubles, two runs, and four RBI. Katie Zauner was 2-3, with a dinger, a run, and three RBI. Laura Thorp went 2-3, with an RBI, and Ali Paz went 1-3 with two runs. Brie Melton got the start and the win on the mound (5IP, H, 4BB, 9K).

The Lady Eagles put up seven runs in the top of the first inning of game-two. Then, added a pair in the second inning and three runs in both the third and fourth innings. Lassen managed one run in the third inning.

Zwetschke continued to light it up from the plate, going 3-4, with two doubles, two runs, and five RBI. Paz was 3-3, with a triple, three runs, and three RBI. Brittnee McNeeley went 2-3, with three runs. Carlene Morgan was 2-2 with a run and an RBI. Crislyn Chewning went 1-2, with a triple, two runs and two RBI, and Zauner was 1-2, with a run, and an RBI.

Becca Anderson started for the Siskiyous and pitched three innings for the win (R, 2H, 4K). Catherine Schorn pitched the last two innings (H, 2K).

The Lady Eagles are 4-0 in the Golden Valley Conference (27-3). COS is scheduled to host a double-header with Shasta, on Wednesday, March 26.
