Softball
South 9 – North 1
Paige Finley from Etna had a hit, walked and scored a run for the North. Finley also received a $500 scholarship from the Lions.

Baseball
North 20 – South 2 (7)
Yreka’s Zach Salvestro went 1/2, and was hit by a pitch. Taylor Barlow had a “nice” play at 2nd base, according to assistant coach Jason Freitas

CIF State Track Championships

Kevin Jorgensen set a new 800m record for Yreka High School, with a time of 1:54.17 in the preliminaries. However, that wasn’t enough to get to the finals. Jorgensen finished 20th in the state. Sean Krinik from Valencia won the event in 1:48.20.

Emily Loogman from Etna ran a 48.94 in the preliminaries of the 300m hurdles, which was 27th. Kori Carter from Claremont won the event in 40.44

Jovon Cunningham from Enterprise High School in Redding won the Triple Jump (50-08.25).
