Former local high school football stars Patrick Lunney (Mt. Shasta) and Devin Howard (Yreka) were selected for the Mid-Empire All-Conference 1st team, as well as several other College of the Siskiyous Eagles players.
Lunney set the COS all-time single season rushing record with 1549 yards this season, scoring 12 touchdowns in the process. He averaged 5.5 yards per carry. Howard was tied for first on the Eagles in sacks (7), second in tackles for a loss (11.5) and fourth in total tackles (47). He also recovered two fumbles.
