The North Section CIF released updated 2010 softball and baseball playoff points rankings on Sunday.

Softball
D-IV
Mt. Shasta (23-3-1) has dropped from 3rd to 5th, behind Live Oak (18-2) and ahead of Wheatland (16-10). Yreka (14-13) has dropped from 7th to 8th, behind Winters (13-8) and ahead of Anderson (10-7).

D-V
Etna (24-6) is tied for the number-one ranking with of Hamilton (18-5). Weed (4-11) is 15th.  Tulelake (4-13) is 17th.

D-VI
Dunsmuir (5-8) is ranked 9th.

Baseball
D-II
Yreka (16-13-1) is ranked 4th behind Lassen (14-9). However, Yreka finished ahead of Lassen in the Northern Athletic League and should jump ahead of Lassen in the seedings.

D-III
Mt. Shasta (10-13) dropped from 3rd to 6th, behind Trinity (13-13) and ahead of U-Prep (3-21).

D-IV
Etna (14-14) is ranked 4th, behind Biggs (17-3) and ahead of Hamilton (8-10). Weed (6-13) is 6th.

D-V
Tulelake (17-7) dropped from 4th to 5th behind Mercy (13-8), and ahead of Loyalton (11-6).

D-VI
Dunsmuir (8-2) is ranked 5th, behind Greenville (3-9) and ahead of Redding Christian (4-13). Happy Camp (2-9) is 8th.
