Lady Miner Kendall Taylor earned All-League honors at the Northern Athletic League tennis championships held last Friday and Saturday at Anderson High School.
“In her final singles match Kendall outplayed a very worthy opponent to win all-league recognition and the right to play in the section finals next Saturday,” said Yreka Coach Steve Pyles.
Heidi Sanders advanced to the final round in singles, but fell short, losing 6-4, 6-4. Taylor and Sanders also advanced to the final round as doubles partners, before being eliminated.
