LOYALTON – The Dunsmuir Tigers amassed 608 yards of offense on the way to a crushing 68-0 win over the Loyalton Grizzlies. Dunsmuir scored 32 points in the first quarter, 16 in the second, six in third, and 14 in the fourth quarter.
Cory Knowles accounted for 247 yards—169 rushing and 78 receiving, while scoring three touchdowns and a 2-point conversion.
Nate Gonzlaes also scored three TDs, rushing for 87 yards, and
logging 30 yards in receiving. Gonzales also had a 2-point conversion.
LT Hisey scored two TDs and a 2-point conversion on 50 yards of rushing. Hisey also passed for 111 yards, and a TD.
Colton Sordahl racked up 108 rushing yards and a TD. Sordahl also had two 2-point conversions.
Erin Kirch led the defense with 10 tackles, as well as rushing for 37 yards, and scoring two 2-point conversions.
As a team, the Tigers had five sacks, recovered one fumble and allowed the Grizzlies no pass completions.
Dunsmuir (5-0) plays next on Friday, October 10, when they host
