Despite having only four team members the Dunsmuir Tiger boys’ varsity took third place at the Burney Spring Classic track and field meet, last Friday. Corey Knowles won both the 100m and 200m races. Jordan Van Wilgen was third in the High Jump and 400m. Nate Gonzales was third in the Long Jump, and Matt Norton took third in the 1600m.
For the Lady Tigers, Theresa Kessler was third in the 3200m. Samantha Schroeder picked up thirds in the Triple Jump, the Long Jump, and in the 100m.
JV sensation Katie McIntyre finished second in the High Jump.
