The Yreka track team, and Etna’s Emily Loogman competed at the West Valley/Chico Invitational at Chico State on Friday. Dunsmuir competed at the Mid Valley League meet at U-Prep on Wednesday. Butte Valley and Tulelake were at the Lost River Spring Classic on Thursday. Mt. Shasta, Weed, and Etna competed at the Burney Spring Classic. Results will be posted when available.

West Valley/Chico Invitational
Yreka’s Kevin Jorgensen won the 800m in 1:56.90.

Tina Ballue had the top finish for the Lady Miners, a second in the Long Jump 16-10.50. Yreka’s other top five finisher was Carrie Scott in the Discus, where she took 4th (107-04)

Etna’s Loogman finished 3rd in the 100m Hurdles (16.56), and 4th in the 300m Hurdles (48.52).

MVL Meet
Dunsmuir’s Katie McIntyre won the Shot Put (26-02.50) and Long Jump 14-10. She also took 3rd in the 100m (13.85).

Nate Gonzales won the Triple Jump (39-08.00) for the Tigers, and was second in the Long Jump (18-09.00).

Lost River Spring Classic
Tulelake’s Franceska Baley won the 100m (13.74), and was 4th in the 100m Hurdles (18.81). Karra Mahan was 3rd in the 200m (29.98), 3rd in High Jump (4-06) and 4th in the 100m (13.89). Tasha King finished 5th in the 100m Hurdles (19.86). The girls 4×100 Relay team was 4th (Mahan, Christina Muneton, Michelle Rupert, King) in 58.10.

Miguel Navarro finished second in the 200m (24.19) for the Honkers, and 4th in the 100m (11.86). Logan Herman was 1st in the 3000m (10:35.00) and 4th in the 1500m (4:54.31). Tulelake’s boys 4×100m Relay team (Dominick Hernandez Logan Herman, Dylan Miller, Ivan Villanueva) was 2nd in 49.53. Ivan Villanueva finished 4th in the Long Jump (17-10.00).

Butte Valley’s Jeremy Lopez took 2nd in the 100m (11.57). Hiroki Yodoya was 4th in the 3000m (11:38.00). Arturs Vorobjous was 4th in the Triple Jump (37-06). The Bulldogs 4×100 Relay team (Fernando Belmontes, Artuto Perez, Jose Gonzales, Jeremy Lopez), also finished 4th in 49.60.

Lady Bulldog Haley Reynolds was 3rd in the Shot Put (28-05.50).
