The Northern Section CIF released updated football playoff points rankings on Monday.

Etna (7-3) slipped one spot to 5^th in Division-IV, trialing Quincy (7-2) and ahead of Esparto (4-5).

Mt. Shasta (4-5) stayed in the 6^th position in D-III, ahead of Trinity (2-7), and behind Live Oak (4-5). With a win over Trinity this Friday, Mt. Shasta should jump past Live Oak, based on head to head competition. Mt. Shasta beat Live Oak earlier this season.

Yreka (4-5) fell out of a playoff spot, dropping to 7^th in D-II. Yreka trails Winters (3-6).

Tulelake in 7th is also on the outside looking in D-V
