The Northern Section CIF released updated volleyball playoff points ranking on Monday.

Dunsmuir (9-8) remained ranked 7^th in Division-VI, ahead of Greenville (8-10) and behind Princeton (10-8). Butte Valley is 12^th, Happy Camp 15^th, and Tulelake 18^th. The top 16 teams make the playoffs.

Etna (16-15-2) moved up one spot to 10^th in D-V, in front of Mercy (14-13). Esparto (10-7) and Chester (17-12) are tied for 8^th. The top 16 teams make the playoffs. Weed is ranked 16^th, but does not meet the Shasta Cascade League’s .500 criteria for playoffs.

Yreka (3-14) is ranked 10^th in D-IV, in front of Anderson (0-19) and behind Trinity (10-15). According to NSCIF guidelines, the top 16 teams make the playoffs. However, there are only 13 D-IV schools listed. Mt. Shasta is ranked 13^th, but does not meet the Shasta Cascade League’s .500 criteria for playoffs.

Playoff positions can change based on this week’s matches, and some schools may not have had all of their matches counted due to late score postings.
