Photos taken on Friday at Weed Carnevale. At Carnevale, you’ll find rides, vendor booths, bocce ball tournaments, softball tournaments, and entertainment. Also, you can get a fantastic tri-tip sandwich from Spini Catering for $5.00 ($5.00! Are you kidding me! It’s worth $10.00). Proceeds from the tri-tip benefits South Siskiyou Men’s Softball and the Mt. Shasta Lady Bears. The Weed High school football team is selling ice cream bars. It’s the perfect dessert after the tri-tip. Trust me on this one. The Weed Lady Cougars softball team has a booth, as well as several other local youth and non-profit booths. Please support the local vendors. When you do, your money helps make our community better.
